Who can be certain? I’m due mine in early January, however being a “munie” in a nation of mostly un-vaccinated people is even more restrictive than the current situation.
I may be able to get about a bit more IF they open things like travel etc up to proven vaccinated but that would mean to...

Can’t we just call tier 4 what it is? Lockdown. I would put money in us all being in tier 4 by mid January and staying there until the vaccine has been rolled out. Wit Tory organisational skills, I would realistically expect this to be sometime around June / July.
I think we all know how you feel about me, JC. Can I ask that you stop discussing me on this thread now please.
It’s neither the time nor place to vent personal grudges. Please save this kind of thing for the bear pit. If you really feel you have to share your feelings on the matter.
Lockdown did work. It stopped the NHS from being overwhelmed, it stemmed the spread of the virus, it saved millions of lives.
If we hadn’t had it, well, I dread to think. If anything it should have been stricter.
Going back to a virtually restriction free lifestyle with people being encouraged...
What stereotype? I attributed a varied set of individual characteristics to one particular person. The very opposite of stereotyping.
As for QED.. don’t take it so seriously. It was a quip.
Johnson has fecked this up for a number of reasons;
He's libertarian
He let his desire to appease his voting base dictate how he organised restrictions
His cronie-ism led to him wasting time, money and lives on awarding useless contracts to his pals and relatives
He has a pathological desire...
Yes. It’s common knowledge. A retired account that I haven’t used for many years. I changed my user name basically. It’s not unusual. Does this really need to be discussed on a Covid thread?
Feel free to PM me with any more questions. Or better yet, PM JCFG, he claims to know all about me :-)
Exactly.
You have to try and operate somehow, and meet the restrictions. Nightmare. I can’t think of a more tricky industry to be in than leisure and hospitality. No chance of working from home either. If it’s any consolation, people will flood back when it’s safe. I just hope as many pubs/bars...
One active account. No lies, just posts you don’t believe. Anyway, this thread doesn’t want a binfest and whether you believe it or not I have better things to do than argue with the likes of you.
Troll away, I’m done responding to you.
Get some sleep.
Like you, I am a front line key-worker and felt a little under appreciated at times. Watching NHS back office workers who'd never stepped foot into a ward get free travel, priority shopping, free McDonalds etc. I wasn't fussed about the pot banging :)
So we have no choice but to keep going. But...
I can barely imagine what full Lockdown was like now. I recall going out and there being hardly anyone around. Journey to work was almost spooky. Looking around these last couple of months, you wouldn't have believed there was a virus raging through the population. And that naivety has got us...
