Not really. The defenders have played in defence, the midfielders have played in midfield, the forwards have - well you get the picture.... He's not been playing on the wing, he's not been playing off the main striker either. He's played up front and he's been weak.

Agree to disagree yes!! I know you said that the blame is with the manager - but that's a different argument and a different (many of them!!) thread. But we're talking about an individual and his performance - he's not being played as an out and out winger, and I don't think anyone can fault...

Ah yes of course that's the solution - put him down the middle with our long term injured players Solly and Stephens supplying the ammunition and everything is fine. That should be superb in a couple of months - can't wait!!

I'm sorry but I completely disagree with you. I saw several excellent passes from him yes - but they were in positions that were totally harmless to the opposition. And he's not in the team to make those passes, he's in the team to score goals and create havoc in and around the penalty area...

It is difficult yes (otherwise boards like this wouldn't exist) but give it a try, nobody will hold it against you.

He's not though has he - there's been a few games he's played centre forward? And even the ones he has played as the wider striker, it's not as if he's completely stuck on the wing - I'm fairly sure that position still generates goal opportunities?!

I've held off giving him any stick for a while to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I am now really struggling to defend the bloke. He offers very little to the team and seems totally out of of his depth at this level - as his earlier career move to West Ham would suggest. I wouldn't...
