I agree driving tired is extremely dangerous, but virtually impossible to police. Drink driving and using phones is cut and dried. Harsh sentences would nearly cut out the crime completely.

I am a bleeding heart liberal usually but I do think many driving offences are punished far too leniently. I think drink driving should carry a mandatory prison sentence. The detterrent would stop many people risking the crime.
