Bloke is reporting news. If someone wants to buy a player or Alexis dad says something, and Romano writes about it... it really isn't him being a ****, its him reporting things. If someone kills someone and a journalist writes about it, the problem isn't really the journalist but the murderer.

Yeah I was thinking £100m as "a bit more" than £80m. PB on that podcast seemed to indicate it was quite a bit about the timing (wanting to finish in a club record position & not wanting to negotiate for a new player when everyone know you've just received big money).

I don't think the main reason for turning down that bid was that the money was bad (though I reckon it will take a bit more than £80m), but that the timing was no good. Easier to buy a replacement in the summer window.

Out of those seven I think Ali Mac, Caicedo and Sanchez leaves and the others stay a year or two.
