Agree with this, though it should be said that you guys following this team for plenty of years are pretty spoiled since you've gotten used to Gross top class set piece deliveries (which by the way I believe are one of the main reasons Gross keeps being a frequent starter).
From what you are saying you obviously expect Brighton to beat Manchester United, because if the game is lost - as it was - it is "either being outthought by OGS" or "coach got a blind spot". To me, it seems you are the one with the blind spot - failing to see and understand that Manchester...
Word.
The people who love losing because they can rage at the manager & the players are having a blast tonight, plenty of that masochist type of fans in this thread. Expect spence to show up any minute.
United pretty good unfortunately. They have so much pace everywhere on the pitch. Pressure them and they will run behind you, let them play and they will run past you. Just like in November they show that 19/20 United are a nightmare to cope with for this team and its certainly not easier now...
I miss Alzate as well, but if there's a 1% risk of him worsening his injury its just better if he sits the season out, which is what I think he'll do unless there's some major injury crisis.
Bench looks tasty.. could easily see Trossard and Maupay being very dangerous if they are subbed in with 30 minutes to go or so, cant be fun dealing with a fresh Maupay if you are a tired defender.
Bernardo being left out of both match squads last week despite having two right backs on the bench and Burn playing in one of the most demanding positions makes me believe something's wrong with Bernardo.
The team I want:
Ryan - Webster, Dunk, Burn - Lamptey, Pröpper, Bissouma, Bernardo (or Mooy if Bernardo is fcked up somehow) - Maupay, Connolly
The team I predict:
Ryan - Schelotto, Webster, Dunk, Burn - Gross, Bissouma, Mooy, Pröpper, March - Maupay
Think its likely Potter is starting with...
