I'm not outraged or one of the pc brigade, but surely you can see that was pretty tasteless? The chance we stayed up because a 20 something young lad died in a plane crash? Poor choice.
We actually tried to win games in the first half, not always pretty, granted, but the second half was plain for anyone that has any footballing nuance about them to see that we were scared, rabbits in headlights, bus parking and making sure we didn't lose. Did you miss that bit?
Followed by the subsequent posts both from myself and others trying to explain the benefits of not having to be defensive first but still win games, hence my Arsenal analogy from last season. Crap at the back, won more than they lost.
We got thrashed at home to Bournemouth... f*cking Bournemouth! And showed no attacking intent. I'm ok with the odd drubbing so long as our footy is expansive and exciting to watch.
