What's that got to do with my point? My point is CH very very rarely changes a formation during a game to change the pattern.

That was a like-for-like swap from memory... hardly a proactive change that changes the pattern of the game

This is the point I think. Southampton made a double change to try to alter the match. Hughton didn't react to that change, and we just dropped deeper. Why can't we make proactive changes like that?
