They need to be handled with a bit more care but they do a very good job IMO. Mind you everythings relative - I wouldn't go near a cutthroat razor. The marketing of multi blade shaving "systems" is one of the best cons ever.

You can buy a pack of 10 double edged razor blades for about £3.50, maybe less. Each one would give you 2 or 3 shaves. I do not understand why more people don't use these.
