Murphy has to be the 4th choice winger, but that's his problem. No manager is going to have 4 fully fit wingers in his 18 man squad. Were anything to happen to one of the other 3 I'm sure Murphy would be in the first team squad. But until that time 'his' place on the bench will always be taken...

I'm not entirely sure I agree with myself, but Jiri knows he's going to hear groans from the ESL, AK could play an identical game and hear nothing but support. There's a 101 factors as to why that might be, hence not necessarily agreeing myself, but like it or not one of those factors is NSC...
