For me they could be the perfect link up players for Jose and/or Mr A N Other-Striker, very much the Emily Heskey to their Michael Owen.
Alternatively none of them could gel and that'll only be found out in September. :down:

Those on the wireless have perked up since March has gone into the middle.
Starting the season without all the players in place to play the preferred system, is what's doing for the team at the moment.
The game would open up more for the Albion if the opposition were concerned about being beaten for pace, through the middle.
Clearly Gross isn't that player, assuming the club find that player I have high hopes of Gross being a considerably better player when asked to do the job he actually can.
No pace through the middle, on the pitch or bench.
