Didn't Best play at Cardiff and Wed? (I hope he did as this will be even less relevant). Straight after the Forest debacle, Hughton had 2 opportunities to keep clean sheets and play accordingly, without expectations. Whichever striker he played would have been on an absolute hiding to nothing...

After Forest I imagine the first words Hughton said to Jones and esp Calderwood:- 'That's not happening again'. From that base he's been tactical astute and flexible. I'm already looking forward to next season.
