Thought I’d seen a review for this but can’t find it now. Went to Aunt Bunny’s Jamaican place in Worthing today.
Canteen style service and was absolutely rammed at 1.30pm. Lots of take aways and seating was full but managed to share a table with a random.
Menu is kind of limited, Goat Curry...
Slowly getting saturated in Brighton now with Patty & Bun etc. Wasn’t that impressed when I’ve had Honest Burger before either. Be interesting to see how they get on
Last weekend of Amex shop small (spend £10+ get £5 credited) so thought I’d try somewhere new for lunch today.
Went Curry Leaf Cafe on Ship Street towards the end of their lunch service. Few office parties in but weren’t too loud.
Went for the Pork Vindaloo Thali - went large as it was my...
I went there a month ago and a quick review is somewhere further up. I really enjoyed it, good atmosphere, good size so fairly intimate and the food was spot on.
Couple of bits.
Did the November 9 course menu at Etch. Was impressed, nice environment, good service and a good pace. Got in there 7.30 and left just after 11.
All the courses excellent cooked, exception the Duck as I found the liver a bit slimey.
But enjoyed the rest. For the standard of...
I wonder if it is any of them. They only have 3, and they are pretty close in price (£40, £43, £45). Note that it looks like next Wednesday + Thursday is full

Went to the Ginger Pig last night as part of Octoberbest. Fairly last minute booking but they had availability and the menu seemed decent.
Choice of 2 dishes for starter, main and a single dessert. It came with a small wine flight included, 75ml measures I think...
Went to Ami Bistro in Worthing last night. This place has been around for a few years and seems fairly highly rated so gave it a go.
Menu is quite traditional English and good variety of meat & fish, with a focus on seasonal food. Some fairly 'basic' options such as House Burger & Crayfish...
Me again.
Any recommendations for Central London casual dining for a small group? A few ex-work colleagues meet up monthly but we keep going to the same places (Meat Liquor, Blues Street Kitchen, Hawksmoor) and fancy something different this month. Not a massive budget and similar food to the...
Quick shout out to Finch in Worthing.
Fairly new place located down Warwick Street housed in the former cook shop.
Fairly cool Cafe / Bistro type place. Popped in today for breakfast about 10am and got a table, place was full by 10.30. Decent amount of veggie options and also a couple of 2...
Alright restaurantados
(Look at me bit) In a moment of genius / stupidity I booked a 1 way flight to Russia leaving tomorrow which has resulted in me needing to appease the missus and get some serious brownie points to make sure I have a house to come back to, whenever that is.
Wheres good...
Not quite restaurant but Brighton Street Diner regular Mestiza Filipina have been at the Brooksteed in Worthing all weekend. Sam used to work at 64 Degrees and they recently appeared on tv with Tom Kerridge.
