If you look at my other posts on this thread I did say that McGhee kept us up so no I wasn't on the moon. I also backed down about saying it was a fact that players don't come here because of McGhee. I then said in my opinion.

All credit to McGhee for keeping us in the 2004-05 season. But last season was a disaster and McGhee was one of the main reasons. He had more resources than any other manager since we have been at Withdean and they weren't used well.

Top name players are not always top names. They start as unknowns but still have the raw talent. This just needs coaching to improve on it. Crewe attract a lot of talented young players beacuse of their reputation for improving young talent. Mr Zamora wasn't a top name before he cam to us was he?!!!

Part of attracting players as a manager is your reputation for coaching and getting the best out of players. Dario Gradi has an excellent reputation for that.
