Most politicians in opposition say what they will do then invariably change when in government, whether Corbyn's ideas have the backing of his fellow Labour MPs is very doubtful. That's if he is even leader then.
I don't think UKIP stand much chance of winning sadly, but to say it would be "an equal slap in the face for BOTH the main parties" is confusing, this is Oldham we are talking about, a northern safe Labour seat with a 14,000+ majority..... i think the slap in the face for one party only.

It seems obvious that many people countrywide are upset by the governments decisions, says a lot that with this in mind the Labour party are not at least 7 points in the lead.
