Christ! Glad I moved from Sussex really then! £10k is pretty standard deposit for first home where I live(Lincoln/Newark). Most of my friends pay £400-£500pm rent on 2 bed houses with gardens etc. Salaries aren't hugely different either, well at least not when compared to the property price...

I know quite a few of them! None of them are Bill Archer though so it's not all bad!

I've never understood the dislike with BTL landlords if I'm honest. But I'm a Recruitment Consultant too so I guess I already tick one box so two can't be much worse! :lolol: :thumbsup:
