Hard to disagree although all 4 BMX medals were tremendous to see. One medal that deserves far more credit than it has received is the silver medal won by Emily Campbell in the weight lifting. She only took up the sport 5 or 6 years ago, then in Tokyo she smashed her personal best in order to...
For this reason alone, I really really hope that Tokyo is allowed to host it as soon as they are next able to have it (assuming they want it). It would be lovely to see them host it in 2036 (Brisbane has recently been awarded 2032).
Not sure that's true. We've hoovered up silvers, but there is a clear changing of the guard as the Dutch are very strong. Australia were always close behind us in the cycling but they seem to be absolutely nowhere in this Olympics.

In all seriousness the head honcho at the rowing fronted up very well this morning, recognising they are accountable and need to make changes without going over the top. Something that hasn't been mentioned is that the rowing group were only made up of 20% returning Olympians where that number...
I think the best place for dressage is Britain's got talent, along with the stupid dog trainers. Nothing screams "human talent, fitness and skill" more than sitting on a horse and walking it round a small patio.
And then onto the One Show where our horsey Olympians can once again show off...
