You're mis-reading the away table - it's the average gate when you're playing away, not the average away attendance. I'd say both are pretty meaningless anyway.
Sheffield Wednesday will get a similar 35,000 gate for their last home game too, but assuming we draw our usual 29-30,000, neither will catch us. Leeds would need over 41,000 to eclipse us, Sheffield Wednesday a lot more than that.
