True enough. I didn't make it clear really, but this was as much an observation on the teams we had played as a default way of playing. Particularly Wigan, who were bang in form when they came here, but would have struggled to beat us under Gus. If I'm honest, I'm not actually 100% convinced...

That was as I intended. It's not so much a criticism as an observation that under Gus I can't imagine us ever going two down at home to a team like Wigan but equally, we tended to cock things up in winnable away games where a draw might also have been deemed acceptable.
