The proposed law changes for 2017 are considering a change to run out where a player has made his ground [e.g. diving in] but then has something in the air at the moment the wicket is broken - currently this is [harshly] out but MAY be changed in Oct 2017.

Several above have written off England before the first half has ended - cricket has a habit of throwing up the unexpected.
