It’s a typo I’m assuming they have an option to buy as the Argus said they do. As in built in to the loan deal. So it’s out of our hands to decide on selling him if there is.
I’m convinced that he wasn’t settled or homesick and that was a major part in us letting him go. I’m sure he missed a game for personal reasons too. I’m putting 2 and 2 together but it makes sense as surely we’d have kept him if we could / he was happy…?
If we do manage to keep Undav I’d say we’re sorted for next season with attacking options. I’d almost go as far as saying it would mean we really only need 1 or 2 high quality CMs in the Summer if we don’t lose anyone. Possibly a pacy right back too and if Webster goes a CB replacement. But can...
I think assuming we have but an option to buy in this loan we have really f***ed up and tbh I thought that at the time too. Now a German international ffs 🤦🏻♂️
Not sure anyone knows if it was a loan to buy or not… I’ve asked a few times on this thread but there seems to be little info. I was under the impression it was, but that may have been some ‘journo’ or rumour on here.
Ah yes, it’s the Argus who say it - but Undav himself seems to have suggested...
Is there any chance we can see him in the stripes again? Nobody seems to know re buy option or personal issues. I wish we’d had him this season myself.
Can anyone actually confirm if there’s been a good source as to if they have a buy option..? If there is then it’s out of our hands whether he comes back or not…
I know there has been some personal issues but really hope we’ve left the door open for him to return…
Mac was £55m with the add ons which is fair. Sanchez isn’t worth £25m for me so was happy with that. Tross was the one that went too cheap but contract played a big part in that and him sulking and downing tools too.
I’m thinking there’s a personal issue there and not settled in England. Was surprised regardless that we apparently included a buy option - seems a bit short sighted.
