Over the years doing this it’s always been a more experienced aged traveler.
Younger guys tend to take the free buss as they’ve not had enough bad away days to know the difference in comfort.
We do always have a hand full of younger people but I don’t know this until match day.
Anyway around the...
The private trains should still run with slight delays and we’ll keep you all updated and will help with a last minute solution should a problem occur.
The walking tour will finish near St.Peters at 2/2.15pm and I’ll offer a beer at a friends restaurant (Trattoria MarcAntonio).
Plenty of food...
Thanks Bozza,
We’ve decided we will do a drop off at the Vatican(Safe Bar) and a second drop off at Termini Station
Keep in mind those going to Termini that it’s not a great area in the evening times and approximate arrival time after the game would be 10.35-10.50pm
Anyone wanting to have some...
I think I mixed you up yesterday with someone who was leaving to Milan at 7am that’s why I chos
Good Morning,
Going to the stadium we cannot do 2 runs with the police escort and I choose the Vatican area really as it’s the safest/most policed area in Rome everyday and not just game day.
Also,I...
This one here is a good price and top location.
Have a look at booking.com in around ‘Termini’
It’s ok to stay for some beers but important to be close to the train station as in the morning you won’t find a taxi because of the strike...
Unfortunately you guys have the six nations weekend so prices are higher than usually.
If you are planning to have a beer or 2 after the game and have a very early train just grab a place near termini as there is more competition over there and rooms are cheaper.
If you want something a little...
Hi Pascal,
The exit is a bit of a push and shove and our buses will be within 150/200 meters from the away section steps.
The police lead everyone out and me and my staff will know exactly who are with us and you’ll also have token.
I can’t guarantee you the same seat on the bus but I can...

These place avoid on Wednesday night.
Good Irish pubs in Rome but just be wary.
Rome is well...
Hi Captain V,
Both Frecciarossa and Italo are the private train and aren’t usually part of the strikes.
However, the tracks do belong to the state and you should expect some delays.
The train usually 3hrs but there has been works going on in Florence lately which you pass and both times I’ve been...
You are very close to the stadium and in a very nice part of Rome(excluding match day) for you I’d suggest if walking get your self closer to the stadium around 5 before it gets dark, grab a beer at one of the stands where there is police close by and then make your way around the back to the...
Honestly, the bus company always tell us yes and even though we pay for them on match day the driver usually keeps it locked.
From my departure point with the police escort we shouldn’t be more than 20 minutes even with heavy traffic to the stadium.
Departure point is at the Vatican area and the...
