I'd imagine (and hope) that raping a child carries a longer sentence than raping someone of legal age. Should be 20+ years for rape and a life sentence for raping a child.

If they're going to change the law, I don't think there should be one set age. Say they do change it so that the age of consent is 13, so do lock up a 14 year-old boy for having sex with a 13 year old girl? They might even be in the same year at school. In their minds, they are the same age...
