Having a Nuclear bone scan today. I will probably glow in the dark tonight!😁

Had my first hormone injection (ProstapSRDCS) this afternoon. Will have the next one in a month's time and then, if all ok, will go to 3 monthly jabs. Told possible side effects could be weight gain, insomnia , and hot flushes!

Confirmed moderately aggressive cancer. I am having hormone injections followed by radiotherapy too.

I've got a meeting with a urology consultant on Thursday. I know that the cancer has broken out of the capsule (prostate), so now I just want to know the next steps.

Had my biopsy today. Undignified and uncomfortable but not painful. Big hand for the staff at Eastbourne DGH, explained everything before and during the procedure. Just got to wait for the results now

Just had my MRI scan results, I've got a slightly enlarged prostate but, more worryingly, a patch of abnormal tissue on my prostate! Will be having a biopsy done on Friday 15th March.

Men, get tested! 😠
