    I take your point, but came across some truly ghastly people that thought HH was the height of sophistication. It's not, it's just another dull commuter town.

    I beg to differ. When I was looking for a new house, I was put off Haywards Heath by two things. 1) Because of the rail links property is terribly overpriced if you aren't going to be commuting to London and 2) the number of residents i spoke to who think it's something other than a dull...

    Haywards Heath is overpriced because of the train links. IMO it's a godawful place full of snobs, but hey if that's your thing then why not try Horsham, which is a much prettier town, with better shops and an even bigger class of snob.
