I am currently on my way back from Heathrow via Guildford to see a friend. On a train to Gatwick now after the news has just spread through the carriage. Really feel for everyone!

Cheers! Bit of pain being rerouted to Heathrow as I could have taken that option yesterday. Decided to take a gamble on Gatwick being resolved overnight.

Take two in the lounge, now off to Heathrow instead. It's been a mild inconvenience for me, one extra night at the in-laws. I really feel for people truly affected by this though. Hope whoever caused this is brought to (sorry tough) justice. Oh, and it's still not socially acceptable to drink...

As I said. These things happen. If you can't laugh about it...

Flying back to the UK for Christmas

I always thought there was technology that disabled them. Either it doesn't work or Gatwick doesn't have it.

These things happen. Luckily I used a free upgrade for this flight so can start drinking the lounge dry once it's socially acceptable to start doing so.

Annnnnnd I'm delayed.

Worried about mine bit seems fine (although not boarding yet)
