Rather we had a stadium at the Brighton station site but that was not to be sadly, but they have done well with the falmer location but a few more seats would be good!
The gamble is on Premiere football which would give us huge sky cash but also the chance to cash in 30+ crowds, depends if we are serious about becoming a medium fish in the prem or a tiddler who gets thrown back after a few seasons.Brighton has the potential to become more than a prem tiddler...
The club got it spot on 22k stadium that would produce income for the club unlike withdean:rolleyes: We are now getting 25ish and losing 250k per week:facepalm: I would not put too much faith in their vision :( We are lucky TB is tacking the whack for us!
Stadium correct size for eternal playoff bridesmaids, but with ambition we might need a few more seats,If we do go prem with 30,000 expect 26/27 s/t holders and as the rule with supply and demand the cost will be pushed higher than it should be. If you don't want to pay it plastic pete will be...
Cant think many who watched Brighton v Rochdale in the third tier with a gate in excess 34,000 would not think top tier football in a modern stadium could not attract around 40k for the better games!
During the 76/77 season when football was a dirty word we had 10 games in excess of 22k...
We would sell 30,000+ s/t if priced right and 1k to 5k walk ups! add the away support and there could an average 36k:mad: Swansea on a February may see an actual crowd of 16k but hey:wink:
Whoops! That's what comes from getting too optimistic! Slung in an extra zero! But if you take price increases into account it might not be far off! Its gone up from 30p to about £42 since i've been watching!
