    Cant think many who watched Brighton v Rochdale in the third tier with a gate in excess 34,000 would not think top tier football in a modern stadium could not attract around 40k for the better games! During the 76/77 season when football was a dirty word we had 10 games in excess of 22k...

    Whoops! That's what comes from getting too optimistic! Slung in an extra zero! But if you take price increases into account it might not be far off! Its gone up from 30p to about £42 since i've been watching!:eek:
