For the Peterborough game the side terrace (where the newish stand is) was closed and the 1000 or so Brighton fans who had tickets for there were put into the end behind the goal. This caused the crush - my friend came out with footprints on his kacket where people had climbed up and out of the way.
If that evidence had existed then it would have been available at the Taylor report stage when I'm pretty sure the environment was condusive to receiving such news. It didn't and it wasn't.
there is nothing in this that contradicts the Taylor Report but this does go further. This is further truth. The problem is that many people didnt believe, or want to believe the Taylor report.
Where have I been abusive?
You said that your common sense and belief is that the tragedy was caused by ticketless liverpool fans. Those were your aspersions.
You said that I was all three wise monkeys - yet I demonstrated to you that I saw, heard and read the accusations you were drawing on...
You like to keep picking at the scab here. You made a judgement which has been proven to be wrong. You have cast aspersions on other people who by and large have taken time and extended the courtesy to answer you in a constructive manner. And just when any sensible person would have either...
the fundamental fact here is that the numbers of people assessed to have gone through the turnstiles or had passed through gate c were not greater than the number of tickets that had been sold for the match. In fact at 3.00 the estimate was that the terrace which could have held c6k was less...
What has been released today covers the medical evidence, the scale of the coverup and the attempts to impune guilt on the victim and the families and also how much the government were the victims rather than the cause of the cover up.
What isnt new today is that the circumstances you refer to...
let me know which part of this is seemingly difficult for you to grasp:
1) the view was propogated as part of concerted smear effort by south yorkshire police
2) it was given to many media outlets who reported it - only one however gave the view that it was unimpeachably truthful
3) it was...
You can repeat it as many times as you like - it still doesnt detract from my view gained from reading your posts on the subject that you prejudiced to the point of ignorance.
I think those who have posted on this thread should perhaps come back here in say 24 hours and care to review what they have said and see if they still stand by their comments.
The FA has some responsibility here but given the issue seen at that match (with no scousers to be seen anywhere) and the 1988 semi final held at the same venue, then it really shouldnt have been that difficult for South Yorkshire police to have been better prepared.
If you are satisfied that an organisation in authority was inherently and institutionally dishonest then that is for you.
You are right, nobody goes to work to kill people - but when that does happen then there should be analysis/investigation as to whether or not the actions they took that may...
Yes they are. I don't think the late arrival is disputed and these docs are very detailed. It's the comment about Liverpool and everton being somehow unique in arriving late and allegedly doing so to deliberately barge in. They aren't saints but as pointed out, the simple instruction of 've in...
Says the man who wrote that we wont get any closer to the truth after all this time (despite ignoring the contemporaneous work of the Taylor report), and assumes that Liverpool fans will argue the toss whatever the outcome.
Do I have a prejudiced viewpoint? well given that it was based on c500...
Purely because it will give some people with agendas to claim about ambulance chasing lawyers. I am sympathetic to the cause of the Hillsborough families and have studied it in depth as part of some work I did with the Norman Chester Institute so I do certainly hope that we see a a conclusion to...
