No you are right...I am really fickle after 41 years.
Actually I will bite.......in your world, do you associate being a loyal fan with being a season ticket holder?
No, losing two people that I have been to football with for years. Or didn't you read my first bit?
Saving £500 to put towards my golf membership...or didn't you work that one out either.
What a ludicrous post of yours...but do carry on.
Heard this weekend that my brother in law will not be renewing as he is looking to retire and probably go off for long periods ese around Europe, and also with Tony Langridge who sat the other side of me sadly not around anymore, I will have a new person either side.
So I will see how it goes...
To a certain degree it has as I know of many times where there has been choices about holidays and playing cricket, especially the money spent on cricket tours etc...and using annual vacation etc.
Thanks for that. Cricket has given me exactly the same experiences. I have met some great people at football, but my life does not Center around Brighton and Hove Albion.
Now there is where you and I differ, as I enjoy golf immeasurably more than football at the moment even when playing in the pissing rain and gale force winds.
I am very much a realist when it comes to watching brighton as I have only seen us play in the top flight for 4 years in the 40 odd...
Blimey. Thanks for that. Can you tell me which supermarket to spend my money in too as I am totally incapable of knowing how to spend my hard earned money....after all having supported brighton for over 40 years, and seen the highs and the lows, I am still not sure if spending all that money...
I am no where clearer as to why we are borrowing club...why should we be in the situation with everything the club has? It just seems to me that the club have invested in the training facility to bring on their own youngsters and to replace the loanees with them so we don't have to spend any money!
One thing that a casual fan said to me the other day is the revolving door policy at the albion that is putting him off renewing.
over the last few seasons, we have seen so many players come and go, it feels like the very soul has been ripped out of the club with journeymen coming and going...
I know we need new fans, but when people like gritty are chucking it in, the traditional fan base becomes that much more diluted. This is a very sad post indeed
My brother in law probably won't but I probably will.
Presumably Tony's seat will become available, so there will be newbies probably either side...or empty seats.
It's only really seeing people around us that draws me to go week after week now. Football is superfluous.
