As a BHA fan I couldn't give a crap how Leicester's squad 'is looking' barring them being one of the teams we'll need to try and get points from to stay in this league, and to go as far as to say you are 'liking' the look of their squad is quite something. The Leicester love-in on this board is...
The only reason Leicester are mentioned is because it's their player going to Man Utd. At what point do you stop? "Brighton have lined up blah from Sligo Rovers as a replacement, Sligo Rovers have lined up blah from..."
What planet do people live on to think any player would use or express a sentiment like 'devastated' in an interview, even if it was their dream move to Real Madrid or a top six English side, and not liccle Leicester City, at stake?
We're not bigger, but to call Leicester a big club as some on here have is frankly ludicrous. It's a game of opinions, some people consider being a big club about on the field success, others consider it crowd size potential etc. There's no argument that Leicester have had a glittering history...
None of which has anything to do with the 'size' of a club. Our infrastructure and support is more than comparable, our catchment area arguably significantly bigger.
Well aware of their history, but the old big club debate is a subjective one, as we all know. Wigan and Wimbledon have both won more FA Cups than us, but bigger clubs than us?...
You might be right though, they might tick the right ambition/finance boxes for him, disappointing from a BHA point...
All true except 'pretty big club'. They've had success, but they are not imho a 'big club' by any stretch. I also can't see Dunk going there then quickly getting a move to an Arsenal or Chelsea, which is surely his ambition in his late 20s... let the hot fuss continue...
Why do you continually pollute this board masquerading as a BHA fan you sad Palace dimbecile? If Guinness Boy or any other mod is listening, please can you bin this prick off.
Exactly, if Leicester represents the sum total of Dunk's ambitions, wages notwithstanding, we may as well all pack up and go home now. He'll have eyes on much bigger prizes than little old Leicester.
No South American or Southern European native wants to spend time in the Manchester climate. London is just about doable for most and the wages go a long way, but Manchester no. Swap Spain's climate with Manchester, and United and City would suddenly usurp Real and Barca as the world's most...
