[Football] How to fix VAR ?

Nope not needed ever the game is played by humans not f***ing computers. Just like these idiots that play football manager they know duck all about football. Leave technology out of the game apert from goal line.

[Football] How to fix VAR ?

Level is in line like it has always been since I started watching f***ing football in 1976. I'll add there is a time between contact and the ball leaving the boot, how bloody far do we go? Does it look offside? YES or f***ing NO. Simple move on, no lines ,no cup of tea, chewing tobacco, by the...

[Football] How to fix VAR ?

Can't change the law it applies to ALL football played everywhere in the World. The technology certainly isn't there. When exactly is a ball kicked. First touch or as it leaves contact? Define please. Can't measure one end then measure differently the other

Laws of the game are for ALL football.

[Football] How to fix VAR ?

You don't because you/we all accepted that the tech was able to determine when the ball was kicked, it can't. All it showed was at the exact moment the video stopped xyz where in that position on the pitch, again not actually fulfilling the laws of the ball that state being level is not offside...

[Football] How to fix VAR ?

It can't be as there's not the tech to finitely show when the ball is kicked, therefore the rest is guesswork. Who wants an offside by an inch, plain stupidity and ruining games. Offside should be simply, that is seen by the naked eye.

[Football] How to fix VAR ?

In the spirit of the game, and being level is onside, it is far too precise. The whole reason for offside is to stop the attacker from gaining an advantage, having a running stride out of sync with the defender meaning your big toe is in front him/her is not what the law was brought in for.

[Football] How to fix VAR ?

Totally agree and I've posted this above. Ref's shouldn't be convinced by others sitting in an office to change a decision. He should be given the full speed replay and make his own decision. Currently decisions are being micro analysed by a group of people. The loudest voice wins the debate...

[Football] How to fix VAR ?

That's why you have to go with the on field decision unless it is obviously wrong. No lines, no slow Mo just a quick look. Dunk's goal at Everton is a fine example of where the current system is just f***ing shit. No one in the ground or watching on TV would say he was attempting to gain an...

[Football] How to fix VAR ?

Firstly insist on number of cameras is constant at every ground. Height isn't the issue but we see some awful angles for offsides. Visual check at normal speed for offside (no sodding lines) only obvious mistakes to change on field decision. The law states level is onside but that has...
