When at Withdean having been sitting in the open often cold and wet, post game those of us using P & R would have to wait easily 30 mins at the bottom of the hill for the bus. That was when we had 6000 odd fans. All part of the journey so to speak.
I know nothing is perfect but there's very few...
Has he got a coat?
My son started going when he was 5, we sat in the south stand at Withdean and as we all know it rained nearly every sodding game, he survived.
Agree and also all those moaning about not being able to get tickets for home games, here's a perfect occasion and shock horror they disappear from the threads.
Never lived within 20 miles of Brighton. You could park in Lewes, pay at the ground, or do as I do pay at the parking (private hard standing) on the A27 east of the ground. I walk back to the car 10mins drive up the slip road at Falmer go back the other way towards Lewes and it takes no more...
Why would there be spare buses with a driver on a bank holiday twiddling thumbs. If there was, the duty manager has got his resourcing seriously wrong and his bosses may not have been happy or the drivers who could have been home playing happy families, or even been to a game on their day off...
No I travel by train, bus or car whatever is best for the situation. The point I am making is those that wish to drive currently have an easier chance of parking (paying) than they would in the city.
I have to drive for my job and I work for a brewery which normally requires me to go to city...

So the clubs runs the railways do they? No
So find another way if you want to go. Chelsea Boxing Day no trains so guess what I didn't sit at home bemoaning the fact I made alternative arrangements because being a big grown up I can do that.
If I wanted to go to an away game that didn't get me...
No they really don't we're are adults (well most of us) and I'm sure we can sort ourselves out. The club already does more than most and as been shown time and time again everyone gets away, just because you may have to wait a while, tough. Chelsea, Wembley, Arsenal, Fulham, Reading, WYCOMBE...
Who wants the ground located back in Brighton or Hove, those of us without an option but to drive don't want to find a parking place in the most car unfriendly city in the country, no thanks. Many Brighton fans live outside Brighton
Nothing.
Too many people who have only recently followed Brighton since attendances dropped at the Goldstone forget that not since the 80's have we seen large crowds at home. There's hardly any difference in getting to our ground than many others up and down the country, some much worse with...
