Not really, when potentially he is worth more. You could argue that £1m is good business as he was 'free'. Interesting no other clubs seem to have shown a definite interest.

Glad its resolved, but if its £2.5m as Sky 'understand', then not great business on our part in my view. Hopefully there are add-on's, like £1m if they avoid relegation.

He is under contract to us. The bottom line is, if he was selected to play, he should play otherwise completely unprofessional. If he stood there with his arms folded, then he would look ridiculous and alienate everyone (see Pierre Van Hooidonk (?sp)), when he played for Forest. Team mates...

He was allegedly seen by 3 different people, turning up around 7pm - from the window of 1901 lounge (it was being discussed at half-time). Now of course he may have left something in his car, so I guess there is a slight assumption. Preparation wise, fair enough - you can only argue what is on...

I think that is fair enough, however, that aside the Championship in terms of quality was a very poor division, which is reflected by the fact that Hull, Cardiff and Palace went up, none of whom were particularly good. I'm not sure that I am aggrieved with Poyet for not getting up with a 'top 2...
