Interestingly, Johan Cruyff left Ajax 50 years ago in 1973 haing played 245 games scoring 193 goals. He did return in 81/83 before becoming manager in 1985. In both 73 and 88 he moved from Ajax to Barca, the latter being as manager. In his 8 years as Barca manager he won just about everything...

Sort of. I was there, being a season ticket holder in the south stand and sitting on the benches that made up the seating. Would have been 17 and just discovering alchohol so those days were a bit blurred.
