You're looking at something like 5-6 days for people to pass things on, 5-6 days to show symptoms, a couple of days to get a test, another 4-5 days to get a result and another few days for the results to be reported.
You've only been in Tier 4 for just over a week, how do you know it wasn't working?

No, well they didn't significantly release hospitality measures at all last summer did they? Oh hang on a minute, yes they were paying us to go to pubs.
What might help is getting test results out within five days. Had a test on Saturday morning and still no result despite apparently being prioritised due to vaccine trial.
Not sure if this is a serious question? I will be able to do a little work whilst my 5 year old watches telly. But none while my 1 year old climbed on my head...
