I agree wholeheartedly with your last point (and most of the others). Diane Abbott's heart is in the right place and it is certainly true that she has had to fight harder to get where she is than most MPs, or even most people.

Fiona Bruce was far more even-handed than the obviously Tory Dimbleby. She humiliated James Cleverly by exposing his bluster as empty and dishonest and she humiliated Emily Thornberry by giving her plenty of rope and letting her hang herself.
