I'd venture to suggest that the general election result proves that very few people take any notice of any newspapers any more, which is worrying for anyone who tries to make a living from writing for them (and their websites).

The paper I most enjoyed working for was the Independent on Sunday, which was read by about five people and bought by even fewer. Good for Liam, although being interviewed by a Palace fan - albeit one of the nicest people in journalism - must have been challenging.
