Fergie is amazing but it’s hard to expect a young kid to shoulder the burden himself hence still the need for a proven experienced goalscorer a l à Danny wings

I think you’ve just answered your own question. Good decision imho plus he was knackered after chasing everything like a dog with 2 dickks

Kind of agree we were slightly overawed by the occasion which is not surprising. Man Utd have far more experience of these big games over the last 40 years!

One thing competing another thing joining them all together!

The only kind thing I can say about Undav is it’s very difficult to come in from the cold and be a match sharp striker

Good point- no way we would have beaten city. It could actually work in our favour one less game

Can’t blame Caicedo for running on fumes. The ground he has to cover in midfield because Mac Enciso and Gross aren’t really centre mids. Needs some help! Why not give Gilmour a try with him

I was surprised how leggy we were. Mac, Mitoma, not really surprising both having been at the World Cup. You do wonder whether we’ve got the stamina for this gruelling run of back to back fixtures until the end of the season. RDZ will have to be very clever with the rotation and use the younger...

I think the most gutting is we won’t get many better opportunities against an elite club. A team that went out of Europe on Thursday and surely were tiring in extra time. A make shift 2nd choice defence. Just shows we’ve still got a lot to do to become a big club

Totally agree. undav needs binning off on loan at the end of the season

Goes back to the striker situation again. I called for Undav to come for Welbeck but both were pony. A decent striker and we would have been the final. Our bench was too weak. Nothing to change the game when tiring. We needed to be at our best to win today and fell short. Mitoma was poor sadly...

We can play better but don’t forget this is a big occasion and utd have far more experience of these- a great leveller

Wonder if Solly will last the 90 mins. Looked to be struggling a bit with his ankle after that injury

No I agree we need to make sure there isn’t a cock up at the back. Sanchez and Webster need to engage brain and focus at times

Is Wellbeck playing? Needs a better 2nd half. Be tempted to give Undav a go after an hour
