Tried the rubbing with olive oil and applying sea salt with my spuds at tea time. Also microwave for 5', oven for 45' and they came out a treat. NSC cookbook perhaps?
Baked beans, cheese and Branston (Lidl ob variety).
Not done it for a while but for the ultimate in sophistication scoop out middle, mix with pesto sauce, parmesan grated on top and under grill to melt it. It's what they would do in Italy probably if baked potatoes featured in their diet.
