Just started heavy sleety stuff as I went into Lidl around lunchtime up here in TN6 for a shop and stopped just as I finished paying at the checkout.

Weather cold and uninspiring up here in TN6 but no sign of white stuff - yet.

10' of earnest snow flurry just ceased up here in the County's northern heights.

Update. Steady fall of small flakes, perhaps the main event is on its way. Who gave the award to this thread?

From the majestic heights of Northern Sussex I can report that it is cold, damp and miserable with a frankly pathetic dusting of snow on the roofs.

North Sussex flumpage update. Started around 25' ago, light first, got heavy, laying on roads and garden but stopped now. Plans to stay at home and not do much today have fortunately not been disrupted by this.

Disturbed my lay in to leave a nice warm bed to investigate and report specially for this thread that their is no sign of flumpage - yet - in the heights of Northern Sussex.

I can report from the Northern heights of the County that there has been a modest amount of easy to remove snow. Hope that is it for the day.

I can report absolutely no sign of snow here in the lofty heights of TN6 and it looks like a lovely sunny Autumn day, perfect for looking at through the window whilst I WFH in the warm and listen to some nice blues playing on Spotify.

Probably Daily Express front page. They seem to be fascinated with extreme weather, much of which never arrives!
