He didn't drop a set in Halle either, the man is incredible. I wonder if he fancies having a go at winning a 6th (SIXTH) US Open title now.

Well, there are rumours now that Cilic was out drinking until late last night; https://www.instagram.com/p/BWm59g4nn0E/?taken-by=brettsimblett This bloke has posted a picture which he claims to be from last night. You'd assume it can't possibly be the case, but it might explain his sluggish...

It looked like Cilic needed to call the doctor as a cover story for his weeping his eyes out because he's getting absolutely smashed into the ground. Amazing really, very similar to the women's final yesterday when Venus had a break point opportunity in the first set but didn't take it, then...

Well, you can't legislate for a player to totally collapse like that in the second set. Classic aftertiming to be critical of a prediction based on logic after the event, everyone's an expert in analysis. Federer vs Cilic tomorrow looks simple on paper, the greatest ever on his favourite...

I'd like to see Garbine win this, but I think we'll be watching two tie break sets. If someone wins them both, game over. If it goes to a third it could go on for hours and hours because both are strong on serve and neither are too strong against serve.

His dignity was not in question. He was injured but played on, and played to a conclusion. Talk of his dignity is pathetic and makes me question yours, if you have any at all. Or if you simply didn't watch the match.

Such a shame he lost to Sam Querrey, so average at everything other than serving. And if he plays Cilic it will be a rubbish semi final. Federer or Djokovic will win comfortably now. Murray was clearly injured, his lack of movement and power was shown up massively.

Rafael Nadal in trouble against Gilles Muller again (look up Wimbledon 2005), 2 sets down and not looking like a comback. That would be good news for Murray who is scheduled to face Nadal in the semi-final. Over in the ladies, oddly nobody has mentioned that world number 1 and top seed...

Azarenka wasn't as loud in person as I'd been expecting her to be. It's more annoying on TV than it is at the court itself. I'm very surprised by Nishikori going out, he's a quality player who has underperformed badly here. Jo Konta is putting up a better fight than expected, she still...

2/2 so far! Consistency of this kind is really difficult to maintain but I'm going to be bold once more and announce that Caroline Wozniacki is now favourite to WIN Wimbledon 2017.

To call Konta the favourite shows a lack of understanding of tennis. She's not the favourite. There are many, many people in a better position to win the event than Konta. I would say that Heather Watson has a better chance of winning Wimbledon than Jo Konta, she's not a grass court player. I...

Heather Watson too as they're in the same quater. Kvitova going out yesterday was massive for them as well. I was looking at the draw considering the possibilities and some posh chap behind me was explaining to his female companion about the draw being random and not possible to map out who...

Yes, I called Pironkova vs Wozniacki to be on 2 so I'm happy right now! I think 1 is the best of the 3, I feel sorry for the people who camped out today in order to get Centre tickets tomorrow. Actually, court 3 is the winner tomorrow. Russian Derby with Kuznetsova, Juan Martin Del Potro (THE...

    Wimbledon 2017

I've been there the first three days, I think this tournament is a slow burner, it's not started with too much pomp. Wawrinka going out just saves him getting smashed in the quater final, the top 4 seeds will be the semi-finalists I'm sure. I sat through a set of Bedene vs Karlovic which was...
