Ever wondered what Twitter looked like in the 1950s?

I'm a real bloke. Not only will I not look at women's football, I won't look at women full stop. I resist the urge to look at them by staring intently at blokes whenever I am in public. Pwoper geezer me.

Ever wondered what Twitter looked like in the 1950s?

Is there such thing as a true "bloke"? I know quite a few men who would be seen as the archetypal bloke but have some pass times some may regard as not very blokey. Look at Geoff Capes, could you get more blokey than him? Yet his major hobby is keeping small birds like Love Birds. Does that...

Does drinking craft beer make you less of a man? Why, just the other night some round our table were enjoying a stout at 12%. I'm not one to judge manliness by what someone like to drink but that's got to be manlier than the traditional "blokes" order of 8 pints of Fosters and a Stella for "Mad...

You never feel proud of anyone for their achievements? Never felt a bit gutted for someone when they do something g embarrassing? There's a word for people who can't feel anything on the behalf of others.

I'm far from a nice guy. I'm mostly a bit of a ****. However, I do recognise ill thought out, patronising drivel. Like your post.

Ever wondered what Twitter looked like in the 1950s?

It's not "offence on others behalf" , it acknowledging why someone might take offence. Two totally different things. A lazy dismissal too often trotted out "ooh, why so offended on someone else's behalf". It's called empathy and the world could do with a lot more of it.
