[Albion] Change to away ticket sales process [Club update - post #140]

To be fair it is a compromise and one they didn't have to make. The club's issue is potential financial loss from unsold tickets. They have met in the middle.

[Albion] Change to away ticket sales process [Club update - post #140]

I wonder if there is any other Premier League club that would devote the time and energy that Jenny Gower and team have done to this or any other similar supporter issue. I'm sure we are all very appreciative (even the moany sod further up the page complaining about Paul Barber).

[Albion] Change to away ticket sales process [Club update - post #140]

My wording was imprecise. By 'unsold tickets' I mean the difference between theoretical maximum allocation and the allocation decided upon by the club. When is the decision made and for Liverpool did it happen during the tiered buying process ? You may not know but then nor does anybody else it...

[Albion] Change to away ticket sales process [Club update - post #140]

Was that reduced after they went on sale ? I remember the club initially announced an allocation of 2900 but I did notice a big drop in tickets available of circa 1000 between days 2 and 3..

[Albion] Change to away ticket sales process [Club update - post #140]

because it's those fixtures that give people with low points totals the opportunity to catch up. Such a policy really would run the risk of creating the often quoted closed shop. I'm top tier but I don't think everything should be designed to please myself and others. Maybe we should agree to a...

[Albion] Change to away ticket sales process [Club update - post #140]

Is this much of an issue ? On the rare occasions I have found someone in my seat I have asked them to move and they have done so. If they had refused I would have asked a steward to remove them but that need has never arisen.
