The thing that really dissapointed me on Saturday (as Wilkins himself said) was that too many players didn't look like they wanted the ball and when they got it didn't know what to do (with the exception of Thomson who half the team seemed to ignore to start with).
Even after our encouraging...
If we finish around 10th this season I will be happy. If we finish between 7th and ninth I will be even happier!!
If we finish 3rd - 6th and don't make Wembley people on here will moan like f***
If we make Wembley and lose the final people will still moan.
If we make Wembley and win the final...
If we could only replicate our away form at home I suspect a top 6 should be easily achievable.
Home wins over Christmas against the Gills and Cherries respectfully would cheer us all up even more. Then it will be a case of what sort of squad he has and whether Georgy boy and Bas are still with...
I'm surprised no-ones complained about the ticket allocation for Orient unless of course all the moaners can't be arsed and are happy to sit and complain at the telly??
Really looking forward to this 'top of the table' clash which should provide a better insight into our prospects.
Perhaps US...
Well I didn't think last night was shite as all. Lots of free flowing attacking football, goal mouth scrambles, good passing and movement from both teams and some cracking goals.
Anyway time for an update isn't it? I think that's 1 loss in 11 and 6 wins? :albion2::albion2::albion2:
This thread pretty much reflects the media in general. They are more interested in bad news but when things are going well they aren't interested.
DW detractors haven't got a lot to complain about at the moment and hence no posts for a week. You can be sure that if we lose tonight the moaners...
So 2 away wins against teams we lost at last year and a credible away draw against a team that is scoring goals for fun. And all this with key players out and a dodgy loanee.
Some of out football has been excellent and some has been rubbish but the key to success is results and so far we aren't...
You're absolutely right US. Now do us a favour and go and 'support' Spurs where you are REALLY needed. 2 games - 2 losses - one at home - and against the same level of opposition having spent millions. Absolutely shocking :jester::jester:
