It's excellent Cornish, very pleased for this news.
Thread not over yet though mate - we are still pulling for Alex, Alex Dawson oo! oo! - hand the good baton on and let's get the lad to cross the line too!
Come on A,AD (oo! oo!), not that long now geezer!
I was about to go looking for this thread this morning, so it's good to hear from you chaps and have it turn up on page 1
Indeed best of luck today CS.
Have you lads been making it to the AmEx, or is that put on the back burner for the moment?
It don't sound like fun - but I feel for you having to take it on the chin.
You just have to keep thinking "all in a good cause", whatever it takes.
Well done Cornish, keep going - you're going to WIN!
Will look out for you in the next couple of weeks.
How are things going? Getting sorted, whacked and walloped, run over by a bus, or what?
Howabout Alex Dawson oo oo, you lads want to give an update?
(there was a third lad too wasn't there? Can't recall the name)
All the best to you too, hang in there and smash it out mate.
You lads are in it together, let's see you out of it and showing everyone what it's like to live the dream at The Amex Stad.
Knowledge is power, and recording your experiences ...that's interesting and makes sense alright.
I left Henfield about a year and 4 months ago, headed for The Lake District for about 5 months living up there and working at Carlisle United. Then back down South to Lewes for the rest of the year...
AlexD, you seem fairly pragmatic about this stuff if I'm reading right.
Has this come from the repetitive experience with chemo now?
Anyway - all the best, keep winning
My family elders always said when the going got rough; "these things are sent to try us".
There's an inherent faith suggested in those words, and in some ways they're a comforting suggestion that one is not alone in their trials, that a person can pass the tests even when it seems everything is...
Rooting for you as well A,ADo!o! (amused myself just typing those initials  )
Progress reports requested, and here's wishing you all the best as well.
Come on lads - squared!
Keep the steel Cs, hope we can perhaps have a ceremonial walk into Falmer's glorious Amex Stadium on the first day.
Could be arranged closer to the day, but bear it in mind.
I just was looking for this thread over 8 pages back, and here it appears at the top of the 1st! :jester:
Lots of reasons for tingling fingers Cs, maybe you aren't getting much exercise and your circulation is telling you something.
Keep up the FIGHT anyway, nobody expected it would be...
The chemo and you are kicking cancers' arse remember? :lolol:
I understood what you meant though - go well tomorrow Cs, and keep us informed how it went when you are ready mate
