It's a fair point. Europe has effectively added 6 more hard fought fixtures to our season already - it has surely contributed to our injuries this season, especially when you consider it puts more strain on the remaining players who might not get the rest they otherwise would have had.
He didn't have a mare, and so this is not a concern.
Lamptey, Dunk and Van Hecke were exceptional defensively, so Estupinan was probably the weakest link in that respect, but he was fine. Did a lot of useful moves.
I'm not saying they did anything wrong - more that if we had Lamptey and Gilmour on the pitch, that goal might not have happened.

I do feel it was probably a mistake to bring on two of our most inexperienced players during the crucial final few minutes in such a tense end to end game.
...He let the play run on indefinitely first. I had a feeling he wanted to see us score and VAR to rule it out, so he could have a massive wank over it later tonight.
Doesn't help when all your players are being hacked down for 90 minutes, and have no protection from the ref... Unlike their players, which conveniently got every foul they called for.

Decent first half away against a strong and dirty Spurs side. 1-0 to us is very fair considering all the brutal fouls they're getting away with.
