It's slightly ironic that we seem to be more interested in this cup now, as a Premier League team, than when were in the lower divisions.
Still, I enjoyed the last round - and I'm looking forward to the next. It's nice being underdogs against lower league teams again, in a weird way.
So one lower League One team and two League two teams left, apart from our U21s....
This is there for the taking. Time to further make history in the competition formerly known as the Paint Pot Trophy? ???
What a fantastic insult to that horrid club!
Don't like them. Never liked them.
Remember looking up at them as they nicked our manager and star players.
How the tables have turned.
Bye bye Reading.
...and most importantly, congrats to our young starlets - well played!
A bit of eye opener - been years since I've watched our youth teams, especially at this level.
It's fascinating, to be fair.
Reading look so much stronger, despite many of the lads being technically better, and some of which will end up playing at a much higher level than what Reading are now...
Wouldn't waste your money on Royals TV as the fans on the Reading forum seem to reckon it's not being shown afterall.
Probably not being shown anywhere to be fair.
Is there a way to pay BHAFC for this? Would like to watch it, but would rather the money goes to our club, even though we're filthy, stinking rich these days.
I've always disliked Reading.
I know these are our glory days, and I *almost* feel bad about what's happening to them, but... I am secretly loving the fact that our U21s will give their first team a game these days, and are probably even the favourites to win... long gone are the days of them...
