I haven't seen Inglorious Basterds yet but for me it was the Kill Bill films that were silly. I know homage and over-the-top violence is his thing but that scene where the Bride fends off about 200 Ninjas with at least 60% being dismembered or beheaded was just ridiculous.

I've waited over four months to start this thread, there is no room here for pedantry!

Its a good film in a number of ways, its just the over-indulgent length of the piece that marks it down for me. I think in part it's reputation is enhanced by the then ground-breaking special effects.

My thoughts :thumbsup: Nothing to be ashamed about in liking the greats!
