This is indicative of how LOUD the combined atmosphere is at The Amex. Noise that is really loud in one part of the ground is drowned out by something equally loud going on elsewhere - the song in question was never audible in WSU North end.
When in unison the effect is incredible. We must...
The tune has been used by many with various lyrics but I've not heard the tune in the Championship this year or ever heard "our" version of the lyrics.
So that does make it relatively unique to us and it should be one of our most used next year.
Agree that the best chants to focus on for home games - and for the chant starters to start most often - are the ones that most reliably get taken up from one part of a stand to the next and then into the other stands.
Which were the best for this on Monday?

There is some truth in this. The Amex era has been notably unblessed by the amount of all out attacking football we've been treated to. It does make a massive difference to the atmosphere.
Hughton's team this year has been the closest we've got and hopefully it will be ramped up another notch...
Can you post one on here that is anything like as loud and clear as that one produced by the club. The amateur ones tend to be ruined by the voice of the person holding the phone and the sound of the PA music drowning out the other stands. I haven't seen one yet that remotely captures it as...

It is incredible and I would love to hear the next few seconds of it. I suspect the GUTWTC v YMTTATWSOF...
5. PLEASE STOP ANNOUNCING THE AWAY ATTENDANCE - it is pointless and as noted above the most usual effect is perking up the away fans for some piss-taking of us
Fair enough. More flags in honesty boxes for people keen to wave them - especially Family Stand but everywhere else too - is a good idea and should be put to the club.
Obviously there is a sense of having been here before, but it would be worth collecting together all "good" ideas on this...
Agreed that Wednesday on Monday was a one off 12/10 for atmosphere...
This thread is about the normal atmosphere being much better and it clearly can be.
The club have twice given away 20K+ flags to STHs and others. I think I have 6 of them at home now. If people want to bring flags then they should make the tiny effort involved in bringing along their own. 100% flags would soon lose its appeal and specialness in any case.
A key step for me...
