Our much-loved MP seems to have lost her Twitter account. Was quite keen to see what she had to say about recent events and today's aid budget vote but she's nowhere to be found.
That tweet she did, saying there was no shortage of PPE "despite what the media says", also included the claim that she'd just done a 48-hour shift.
I'd love to hear what her colleagues say about her.
Saw Reginald D Hunter at the Dome a few years back. He told a story about Dorries that I can't remember in full but it was something along the lines of meeting him, asking him to pose for a picture with her daughter, and then posting that picture on social media with some unsavoury comments that...
Definitely true in the 2019 election. We had our chance to unseat her, but we blew it!
To be fair to the Greens, their view was: we stood aside in the election before that, and the Lib Dems couldn't take advantage.
Seaford, Newhaven and Polegate are also in the constituency. Lewes itself is only a minority element of the constituency.
Plus all the villages as you say.
Norman Baker held the constituency for the Lib Dems, in his own admission, rather against the odds. It's a naturally Tory-leaning area...
I don't think she realises quite how badly she comes across on Twitter. Some of her followers would have been quite at home in Nazi Germany, which isn't necessarily her fault ... but she allows some pretty fascist-themed views to stay on the Twitter feed while other stuff gets deleted.
I don't...
Seems the Lewes MP's rather unpleasant Twitter career may be at an end:
