[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

Just in case any of you missed this.....all the hand wringing, all the panic, all the venom directed at the club......and all the time, all you had to do was calm down, think it through, relax and wait for the inevitable decision. Tickets purchased in ESU this morning. Job done. Any advice re...

[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

Not at all. They are simply waiting to maximise Lower Tier sales. Once its down to singles and oddments, which won't be long, I would expect an announcement to open ESU ( it won't be WSU...they know they will sell nowhere near another 5000 ) I am confident that they will announce tomorrow or...

[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

I don't believe that CH will see it as an unwelcome distraction. We have an empty week before and after the game and if we get knocked out, we will have no fixture between March 10th and March 31st ( unless Man C lose to Wigan as well ) He will not want this level of inactivity. He will want...

[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

No business survives without profit, small medium or large and football clubs are no different, despite having their own inflation/recession proof micro economy.

[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

The counter argument is found amongst those who normally sit Lower Tier and would like a different perspective. I sit WSL and my block sold out before I had a chance to purchase my normal seat. I would like to try an Upper Tier. I don't particularly want Lower and/or in a corner. Its my...

[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

Its clear that a number who post on here are still holding out for the chance of an Upper Tier. Personally, I shall wait until after the weekend and review then. Its pure conjecture but I reckon that the club could potentially sell another 2000+ seats.

Once they get down to a few singles here and there, then they will decide. They know there are groups holding out for another option.

No source, just pure guesswork. Could be as few as 500-1000 holding out. Whatever the number, there are some holding on for an Upper Tier option ( my group, to name just 4 ). Its a gamble. We will have to wait and see.

I rang the club and was informed that no decision would be taken until all lower tiers had sold out.

[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

Could be another 2-3,000 out there, all waiting for the possibility of an Upper Tier. ( 4 in my group ) Cannot see any decision from the club until Monday at the earliest. Between now and then, a fair few of those 700 will go. Some fans will just not be prepared to take the risk and will commit...

Over 700 to sell yet, before that happens.

[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

I firmly believe CH will give the FAC his best possible shot. He will want players to be in action over the 6th round weekend ( 16th - 19th March ) If we don't get past Coventry, there will be no fixture between March 10th ( Everton A ) and March 31st ( Leics H ). He will not want this level of...

[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

Ok....so quite a few already gone today. Every indication they will eventually have to open at least one upper tier.

[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

I think a number of people will wait for at least another 2-3 days just to gauge the offtake from general sales. There are clearly quite a few who would prefer upper tier and so they are holding off buying at present. 5000 more to shift in the lower tiers won't happen for a few days yet. I guess...

[Albion] ESU and WSU open for Coventry game

Ground capacity = 30,500 Less 1901 = 28,000 Less WSU = 23,000 Less ESU = 21,000 Less Cov = 16,500 Just under 5000 left, so approx 11,000 sold to Albion fans thus far.
